WHO I AM
I am a passionate, results-driven and multi-faceted product designer with a proven track record of achieving business goals while enhancing user experiences across various projects in diverse industries. I have experience collaborating with companies in the healthcare, retail, and financial sectors, as well as internal facing applications. I have designed app, web, and mobile web experiences. During these projects, I have delivered visually captivating and impactful designs within tight timelines. I love collaborating with cross-functional teams, like engineering, analytics, and research, to ensure successful project outcomes. My philosophy as a designer is that design should always prioritize the user, be simple, easy to use, accessible, and of high aesthetic quality.
As a multifaceted designer, my creative journey spans a broad spectrum of interests and mediums. Alongside my professional endeavors, I find inspiration in the realms of photography, fiber arts, and traditional/digital art. I am always looking for ways to pursue opportunities that will help me further refine my current skills as well as strengthen existing ones. Above all, my driving passion is developing innovative products that empower underserved communities.
I graduated from North Carolina State University in May 2020, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design. Upon graduation, I decided to further my design education with a Master’s Degree at North Carolina State University, graduating in May 2022, where I discovered my love for UX/UI.
After graduation, I worked for WillowTree, a full-service software development agency, where I worked with clients from a wide range of industry sectors and quickly learned about UX best practices. I am currently working in the e-commerce space for Trader Interactive, a leading provider of marketplaces and digital marketing products serving the lifestyle vehicles and commercial equipment segments.
